The RDHM is a new series of mounts designed specifically for forward mounting of red dots on tritium and fiber optic combination ACOG sights. The focus is modularity, durability, ease of maintenance and repair, and low profile red dot mounting to make shooting under night vision much easier, similarly to the PAMM series of mounts. These mounts attach directly to the front hood of the ACOG, which means the user is not forced to increase their height over bore or swap mounts for something different if the mount was attached to the bottom of the optic. 
 
THIS SPECIFIC MOUNT IS FOR THE TA11 ACOG (3.5x). A TA31 (4x) MOUNT IS IN THE WORKS.

Each mount consists of of 4 individual parts-
Left Half
Right Half
Tension Clamp
Red Dot Mounting Plate

There are currently 3 different red dot mounting plates available to choose from-
RMR/ EPS/ DPP footprint
Aimpoint T2
ACRO P2

Installation is performed by mounting the halves together onto the hood with a red dot plate on top and using the 4 provided torx screws to join everything together. The last step is installing the clamp and screws to tighten down the mount to the optic. The torque spec is 15in/lbs for the 4 side mounted joining screws.

Due to the design of the mount, the user can easily swap out mounting plates for user with the vast majority of dots on the market.

NOTE: If you intend to use a Delta Point Pro footprint optic, send a message so the correct set of screws and studs can be included with the package. Otherwise, you will get only the RMR/ EPS screws and studs with your selection of the RMR/ EPS/ DPP mounting plate.
 
This is currently a preproduction batch and does not resemble the quality of the final production models. The color and finish are different, and there is a lack of logos and markings on the mount. The final production mounts will have all of these things updated.
